I was trying to sell my mare the back end of last summer, we had lots of interest but unfortunately she was kicked on her right fore, just below her knee - the vet said she was pretty certain it was fractured, therefore was taken off horsemart etc until she got better.

She has now had 7 months off, I have been long reining/lunging her etc for the past few weeks and hopefully will be getting on her sometime next week.

Will be re-advertising her in the next couple of weeks, so just wondering how much do you think I should ask for her, and how should I word the ad as obviously she needs bringing back into work and it will be a while before she is jumping etc.

She is a 14.2 11yr old Palomino. Welsh x Arab x TB, has done SJ, HT, XC. LOTS of scope, good to catch and shoe, but of a bitch with putting her in the trailer, she has lovely paces and is very pretty to look at, she has the odd buck every so often but nothing major, I ride her in a french link snaffle at home but sometimes in a pelham as she works very nicely in that for showing. She can be nappy on hacks by herself but I have no problem with her. She would be ideal for an experienced teenager or small adult as I think she would really take the pee out of a small child.

Hi,
I like her, she looks sweet. How much did you have her on for originally when she was up for sale, before her accident? What is she likely to be able to do work-wise after her accident, ie. has the injury limited her in any way? As this would significantly affect her price...

It's not really about the money I can get for her, obviously don't want her to go for pennies as she's a good horse. We can't afford to keep her for that long and I also have another horse so don't have time for 2. Selling the other one is not an option as he's not ready yet.
