Have been looking at the requirements for licensing, lots of stipulations about number of litters, age of bitch etc but I am horrified to see the statement

•Dogs must not be sold under 8 weeks of age other than to a licensed pet shop.

WTF? So it's ok to take a puppy away from it's mother as long as it's going to some middle man puppy farmer.

Where is that head-desk diagram?

Gawd that is crazy. Is that licensing for breeding with a local council? I never had one because I never had more than 2 breeding bitches so not sure of all the rules. I do have friends who applied and never had inspections or any sort of check up.

Disgusting....I did not know that........so a dilbert in a store much the same as sainsburys but only they stack and sell animals instead of beans can take on a 6 week old puppy dump it in a cage, let a few hundred people gawk at it, for it to be sold to some gormless doaley, pumped with bob martin worming crap and toxic flea drops till 1 pup is left alone with serious stress issues when the rest are sold and are left over night alone in the store in what resembles a rabbit hutch full of saw dust, and a pet food selling spiv gives out crap advice if any at all when selling .........jsut shows u how cluesless there morons are, no better then back street breeders
