Got this wee guy, hes 13.2hh, recently shod, wormed and clipped. Didnt move a muscle when clipped or shod, broke in for riding and driving, good in traffic and to load.

Hes a 6 year old gelding, ive had him a few weeks now, got him for driving but feel i want a bigger one i can ride and drive.

Heres my friend driving him, and yeap i know the harness isnt sitting right, its really too big for him.

Was going to sell him, but have no idea what price to charge

He is very lazy when being rode, have had different people ride him and all loved him, he gets more excited when driving, can hold a very good pace, but hes easy to keep under control.

I would let a child ride him, he is very affectionate, and very good in the stable. His only bad side is that he wasnt used to wearing a rug and he didnt like standing still when you put one on, but hes getting loads better.

He comes over when hes being brought in from the field etc, doesnt bite etc, has no stable vices

Honestly? To make him go you do need a whip, hes quite lazy. He wouldnt take off or start rearing etc!

My cousins 5 year old rides him at the weekend, thats how i know hes ok, as hes not really into horse riding and gets scared easy - bless.

The horse was at the stables for ages before i bought him, so had been working with him previously to buying him. With him driving on the road hes good with traffic. Hes good with other horses too, hes took a shine to my hubbies tb.

well, he's worth what someone will pay for him. being lazy isnt everyone's cup of tea. personally, i'd pay up to about 2.5k for something like that, which if hes as genuine as you say, what I'll be looking for later in the year, but others may pay more.

I dont really want to sell him as hes so sweet, but my mare is pregnant and i really want another horse that i can ride and drive, as i get so jealous of others out riding!!

Hes called max, and i honestly dont think hes got a bad bone in his body.

I wouldnt sell him as something he isnt, as i know people that, that has happened too and i wouldnt want to say hes a safe ride for a child to get on him and him going crazy.

His feet look a bit odd or crooked , is it how he is standing or does he need shoeing as they look very long.Does he jump or has he done much I think an unschooled but quiet 13.2hh would be about £1500.What did you pay for him surely that gives you some idea or are you hoping to make a profit. If he is lazy he might need some schooling to become more responsive then he would be worth more. Shame to be selling him on so quickly .I feel sorry for horses that have to keep moving it would be frowned on with dogs but seems acceptable with horses.
Sorry just my opinion

Think its the way hes standing as he had his feet done the day previous to the picture, was finding it hard to get him to stand still as he was just drove and ready to come back in again.

I wanted a driving horse and had worked with him for ages, but it cant replace sitting in the saddle! So i want to get back into that again.

My mare is due late May and wont be able to ride until after that, get really jealous when i see others riding. I know someone was interested in him as a riding pony for their child, as the child had rode before, but the lady went into hospital and past the horse up.

What a sweet little man.

However, you may want to post another picture - because his legs and in particular feet look apalling in the picture you've posted.

That will give people a much better idea of what they would value him at.

Quiet kids ponies are quite saught after, particulalry if they are big enough to accomodate a small mum too. However you may struggle to get a good price if the pony hasnt/cant jump. We sold our 13.1 reg sec C with fully fitted nearly new tack and wardrobe of good rugs for £1,750 4 years ago. Hew as fab in every respect but could really only jump 2'3" consistently. I was ammazed how many peole after a 1st pony were put off by only being able to jump 2'3", eventualy sold him to a tiny grown up who was scared of jumping so it was win win allround.

I would think £1500 - £2000
