Lovely coloured mare. Super looking and friendly horse. Sold sound and vice free. She is very nearly a novice ride other than when first mounting she has been known to but in a rear. Easily sat to and once over with rides very quiet. We feel it will easily be schooled out but only fair to point out. Other than problem mentioned is fine in everyway. We are a small producer of horses taking great pride in matching the right horse to the right rider. We pride ourselves in our pre/after sales and if a problem arises we assure you it will be dealt with in a professional manor to your satisfaction. Sold with full exchange warranty and open to vet and trainer. Priced reduced for reasons above.

small rear when mounting?
wouldn't touch w/ a barge pole I'm afraid, but not sure what your after?
Probably sore, frightened or horrible!
Plus just too dangerous IMO

And they can't spell 'manner'!!

I say no, they admit it rears, so there would be no comeback if it turns out to do it every 5 mins!! Do you think they could be the sort of people that advertise for horses wanted and buy, for cash, the dodgy ones??

If you purchased the horse and she turned out to rear every time you tried to mount her and she could not be got out of this habit, you have made a very poor purchase. What is the point of buying a horse that is difficult to mount. If she were a fantastic show jumper or eventer, then fair enough. But for an all rounder I just can't see the point. Buying a horse is always the cheap bit. It costs as much to keep a dud horse as a decent one. There are better horses around - don't waste the money you have, just save a bit more!

Something to get as far as I can in dressage and do a bit of everything else. If it's a safe rearer that would be fine, but the falling over backwards type NO! It says there is a full exchange warranty and open to vet etc. and I know people are finding it hard to sell their horses anyway atm. Just wondering on opinions really, esp as I don't have all the cash in the world.

Any horse can be a 'falling over backwards' type rearer - if they rear then there's always that possibility!

there's obviously something causing it - depnds if you want to try and find out what it is.....
