Sorry...Another Show Jacket Thread!!!

I've posted about this before but have changed showing strategy since I last posted!

Will only be doing in-hand showing with Dreamer now with no ridden at all.

I have a jacket that I LOVE and I really don't want to part with it.

Just wanted opinions on whether people think it's going to look ok?

Pictures are of printed pictures as don't have digital images, and are also of a different horse that I used to show as I don't have any of me showing in this jacket WITH D.

Pictures were also taken in 2003, hence why I look younger

I also wore it when I did a show with a black cob.

So....opinions please! Will it look ok with palomino? I do have printed pictures of me with it on with him...but can't get them on PC!

What level are you aiming to show at? At affiliated and county level I'm afraid you won't see grey/blue tweed. Greens and browns will dominate, and grey/blue will stand out as being an amateur.

If you are determined to stick with it, I would get a shirt and tie to tone with it, although it might look a bit bland next to a pally. Personally I'd go for a good deep green.

Will be wearing trousers that go with it as well rather than my jods as in these pics I was also riding that day! Will look into getting a shirt and tie to tone with it....failing that may look into getting something darker!
