sorry another stud hole question ?

what types of studs should i buy ? they are all different shapes, doing workers, only novice level at the min so only going upto 3"3 max !
i havent got a lcue which ones to get ? im guessing it goes on the ground conditions ?

It depends on the ground conditions. Pointed ones for hard ground and fatter, blunter ones for wet ground. To be honest though I just tend to use my pointy ones and they are sufficient. Also I prefer the stockholm range of studs rather than liveryman ones as the hexagonal spanner for the latter is very annoying and if you are really unlucky the edges wear on the studs and then the spanner just spins round uselessly!

I do the same as SJ_Saphhire, and also agree on the spanner thingy! I hate the hexagonal spanner thing, I actually use a normal one out of a tool box!
