sorry another what do you think of this horse (video's)

Lovely horse... though something looks a little bit odd trotting i see what you mean.... fantastic jump though

Cute. I know what you mean re. her trot, and would say she almost goes bridle lame on occasions. She is a little bit fussy through her head which contributes to it. I like her though, and would go and have a look. Re. the grackle, I ride most in a grackle as I prefer them to flashes on a whole. Wouldnt concern me at all, as high rings are actually quite kind.

Am not sure, very attractive but felt she was fussy in her mouth, a bit bridle lame at time and she looked quite stiff in her back legs, not much movement in the hocks (but only noticed that at the end). The overall picture wasnt of a settled horse but it was a busy arena. Grackle wouldnt concern me too much

Difficult to see fully due to video quality, but there is something there that perhaps looks a little uneven. It would however not stop me going to see her and just being a bit careful when I viewed the horse in the flesh as it were.

The grackle I would totally ignore, many of my friends use them because they think they "look nice" and make the horse look more attractive?? I use one when both myself and my OH are jumping as it was the only bridle I could find at the time with clip on cheek pieces and reins to allow for a quick bit change over.

not the best of videos to sell a horse through imo...i agree about the bridle lameness and yes it does appear to be slightly stiff in back end..could be the way it's ridden?, rider didnt appear to be that soft with her hands from what I could see...but who knows?
Maybe worth a look on a quiter day maybe?

Thanks nice to know maybe I am not as paranoid as I think.

No won't bother, if something is even slightly wrong it is not worth yet another wasted trip!!

I wouldnt write a horse off just because of a dodgy video

The video I took when I went to see my mare won her no fans at all

But actually, she has so far been perfect *touches wood frantically*

.

Doesn't look lame, just looks faffy with head which throws the action out a bit, as someone else stated above.

I'd be interested to see the horse works like before its warmed up correctly to see if there is any difference and if the horse settles better or gets less settled once worked in etc.

The horse I ride used to be bridle lame for the first 10 minutes and then he'd be sound as a pound once worked in, he even passed a 5* vetting!!!, but now this has completely gone, you commence trot straight away and he's sound, I think the schooling has helped because he used to go like he was born in a pair of draw reins though

also because he's a bit of a head shaker this can effect his momentum when walking and trotting odd times.
