Dressage next week...so far I have white jods, navy jacket, long black boots (they're laced at the ankle). It is unaffiliated and I don't plan to affiliate in the near future. Would be doing the majority of competing at novice level. Would a white competition shirt like this be ok?

Or do I have to go for a stock and stock shirt, even though its just local level stuff? I'm so confused!!!

If you are a senior and therefore wearing long boots you should really be wearing a stock. I have always worn a stock even at local stuff and most people i ride against do too. I actually like wearing a stock. makes me feel a bit posh!! lol

Hope that helps

What you have got sounds great and the shirt is very smart. Remember your gloves tho as you could be eliminated. Advisory is that you should have light gloves but black/navy are fine.Enjoy!!
