Hi all. Just found out my husband is being made redundant and I can't afford two horses any more... in honestly it is taking up more time and money than I ever thought anyway, and I think it's time to do the sensible thing and let the baby one go to a nice new home. He's a lovely little horse and will give someone so much fun - I have no idea what to ask for him. Any thoughts?

15.3 (nearly 16hh)! rose grey gelding, rising 5, very pretty and sweet natured, loves cuddles and is completely well-mannered in every way. Hacks alone or in company, jumps anything you point him at whether it is SJ or XC. Has XC schooled and seen water, ditches, logs, steps, and drops. Will do a really nice SJ round with no complaints or spooks, has never once stopped at anything. I haven't jumped him over 3 foot, but he jumped out of his field once and the fences at the lowest point are 4'6!! Goes straight on the bit with good hind action, will do a lovely dressage test. I have taken him out once to local dressage and got nice comments, warmed up like an absolute pro and didn't worry at all about the other horses whizzing about. He is absolutely genuine. Everyone who has met him can't believe how sensible he is for his age, he just wants to please all the time.

Help!!!

Thank you very much for any thoughts! Also where to advertise?

xx

he sounds just like my rising 5yro except she has jumped slightly bigger.
how much potential do you think he has to go on to higher levels?

depending on that he could be worth £4-6k.

I think he has tremendous potential - hard to tell until you try, but his attitude is amazing - I think he would have a go at anything you put up. He's got lovely strong quarters and is a nice compact sort - I don't see why he couldn't jump bigger. I'll put them up a bit tomorrow and let you know!

Lovely paces as well, easily good enough for straight dressage.

I am kicking myself, having to sell him!
