6 yo 15hh dapple grey with flea bites, AA mare, reasonable TB and Crabbet Arab lines. Very sweet nature and fantastic attitude to work and life in general. Good to box, trim (never been shod and not likely to need it), never been clipped, lives out 24/365 or will be stabled happily, good in all sorts of traffic and hacks out by herself or in company. Will pull up from galloping on the beach even if her friends have carried on. Works in a natural outline, has very good natural balance, straight correct movement and a good jump, jumps 4' hay bales for a laugh in the field. Did Pony Club camp last year, only a few months after being brought back into work after being turned away for 6 months having been broken the previous autumn. She has been very gently and carefully brought on and has only done a handful of competitions but she has enjoyed them, been easy to handle and won several rosettes. She would do pure dressage and is expected to manage Advanced Medium, she would also apparently show to County level but we have been bringing her on to event.

I had been intending to leave her with the pro who broke her, where she currently is, and for him to take her round an Intro or two and possibly PN right at the end of the year. So far she has clears at 2'9 at Gt Witchingham and Ely Eventing Centre. She's not a novice ride as she's fairly sensitive but her small size and pretty looks make her a teenager's dream and I'm concerned that she goes to someone who will be able to manage her and advance her career. That's why she was going to BE before being sold.

However, in the last few days two friends have asked about buying her and I would be fine with either of them as a home for her. Which leaves me needing to set a price and I have no idea. I know what she stands me in at and I know that if she has a couple of Intros under her belt she would be worth more - but I don't know what a reasonable price to sell her now or in the Autumn would be. So if anyone can give guidance I'd be grateful.

I did a thread about bringing her back into work - before the enquiries - so if you want to see more of her it's here : Thread on mare

This is all very sad for me because I love her dearly but realistically I'm never going to be light enough to ride her - or good enough - and although my daughter took her to camp they are just not the right combination.

Have a glass of wine for reading this far!

TBH if she has flea bites I would get rid of the fleas and treat her before selling her, can't be comfy for her

Lots of photos taken on Wednesday (jumping) on the link above, but this is her three weeks ago on her first day back with Barry, who broke her:

I think the OP post means Flea bitten as in colour and not flea bites??

Lovely little horse, she is a very pretty and has a kind eye.
Looked at the jumping pics (from her first jumps), she looks willing even though just a baby.

I would guess at around £2500- £3000 mark but could be way off. Good luck with selling her, I really like her.

She is rather small so don't fetch quite so much but I bought very similar last November a 16hh 7yr black AA gelding with super paces easily go advanced in dressage, winning 90cm tracks Sj and started Intro Eventing and I paid £8k but he is 16hh and I wanted him for pure Dressage due to his conformation and paces, he too is born on the bit!!
