I don't really know why.

My chestnut mare is finally well on the road to soundness, the old TB is looking fab, the grey is being really good and I've finally found a hard feed that the yearling will eat. Even the cat is being good.

Maybe it's delayed stress, worry and guilt over my chestnut mare? But she's looking so good now, I don't know.

*wallows in sadness* :(

It happens. Don't beat yourself up for feeling like this as you will only make it worse. Keep busy and try not to think too much about things that get you down.

If it persists then please go and see your GP.

There must be something in the water at the minute- or perhaps the change in season and the darker days are taking their toll on a lot of us at the minute.

If you feel rubbish, let yourself wallow in self pity for a while. You'll probably wake up some time in the next few days and wonder, what was that all about?

Hope you do feel better soon, and glad that your 4 (plus the cat) are all in good spirits.

Its probibily the change in daylight hours.
I find when it gets dark so early, I am wallowing in things that happened a while ago and are well on their way to being sorted.
*Virtual hugs*

If you've been stressed over them all, maybe it's just hit you when you have the time to worry about it now they are well! Going through stress I think makes you realise how very much you love them, which is bloomin stressful in itself!

Do you have time for a chilled evening with a bath (plus wine and choc) then an early night? Sometimes just being good to yourself then getting a good nights sleep works wonders. Take care, hope you feel better soon.

Thanks everyone. It seems silly but your posts really have helped. :)

I'm going to try to concentrate on the good things. OK, my mare is off work at the moment, but she is getting better. I have two lovely youngsters to train on any good days that we have over winter and a very sweet old TB to hug.

Thank you.
