Sorry...Insurance again :)

Ok, need to change my boy's insurers as with E&L and well, as I've found out from here, they are bad lol.

So I'd like a list of recommended insurers so I can get quotes from all and go from there.

Also, if poss, opinions on KBIS as I've been given a good quote but have conflicting reviews about them.

I have mine with E&L aswell so would like to know what other compains there are out there, so will keep bumpping this post. Most people I know love NFU, so did think about using them.

Im with KBIS and have not had a problem. They paid out on my mare's elbow when she caused a lump to form by lying down with her hoof pressed against it. Now wears a sausage boot every night.

I would recommend KBIS.

I have to say that my recent dealings with E&L have been very positive.

We recently had a claim which I thought we would never get to the end of, but I was contacted on here by Phil, their claims manager and in no time the claim was settled.

We then raised some treatment on the same horse which we undertook last year, we did not bother claiming for this, as we thought it was not worth the hassle. Again the claim was settled within two weeks.

Leopards and spots come to mind, but we have had excellent service from Phil at E&L.
