Hi

My friend has asked how much she should advertise/accept for her horse but I have no idea and do not wish to insult her
tongue.gif

She is a reasonably well bred TBxID mare who has done novice RC and is good at dressage-don't know what level to but I imagine just RC. She can easily jump 90 cm course and has (I am not sure how often) jumped 1.20.

She is 18 yrs old though. How much does age affect price? She is also not a novice ride.

Thanks

Age will affect the price. Also as she's not a novice ride she will be harder to sell, as most people looking for an older horse are generally novices wanting a confidence giver. IMO If your friend's mare is good to hack in traffic, still being placed at RC events and sound, with no major medical issues I would say the max you could get would be £1500, if you find the right buyer, but it may be in this current climate that your friend may have to settle for £1000 or less.
