Decided against the thermatex *doh* mainly because we were going to use it to prevent Chloe getting a chill when we washed her in summer (weather/wind can change suddenly!) and also to wick away sweat, but seeing as she we will be clipping her, didn't see much point.

Soooo, I just need a cosy stable rug which'll keep her warm (she will just have a small trace clip) in the coldest of nights, but can also be used for milder weather.
Thanks

P.S She is arriving on Saturday hopefully, if all goes to plan.

I used to have a thermatex rug which was teflon coated and the thermatex was really thick, that was fantastic, maybe you could get her one of those... Its what I used on my connemara about 5 years ago when he had a trace clip, cos his saddle patch used to still get wet, but I dont how muich they cost now, might be quite alot.
Otherwise you could get a requisite rug or something like that they are dead cheap and my friend has one which she has on her horse with a trace clip and that is brill!
