Hi Everyone
Apologies for posting Again about my filly for sale but, to cut a long story short I have advertised her now for just over a week to be in h and h on Thursday. The only interest I have had are texts and emails to ask what she is like to ride? and does she come with tack??? she is only 2. I am VERY reluctant to sell her but have no choice (suprise baby (mine) which as brought on lack of time, funds and a nasty outstanding debt). She is currently advertised at 950 but I am going to re-advertise at 695 (less than I paid as an 11 month old) but due to the above I really need her to sell, plus twice daily I am getting very emotional each time I see her. Basically I need 1000 to clear the nasty debt (hence advertising her for 950).
We also have 2 small ponies which my4 year old and 2 year old ride, and (before the baby came along) we bought a grey section A gelding (I dont normally like sec a's but there is something about him), he is great with the kids, handsome, laid back, has lovely movement for showing and the most scopey loose jump I have ever seen on a sec a. He was to be a future prospect for my daughter. I am now thinking if I reduce the price on my horse I will have to advertise him too, I was thinking 295???
Do you think I have any chance of selling either of them?
Where else would be a good place to advertise?? (I have been told not much is selling from Horsemart, is this true??)
I may well just be panicking but my head is swimming, none of my equines were meant to ever leave me:(.
Anyway thank you to anyone who could be bothered to read my post x

I'm not an extpert but i don't think i would lower the price that much, i think it will attract the wrong sort of buyers and you will find yourself getting more of those stupid texts.

Sorry i can't be any more help, i can offer some virtual cookies though? x

I would wait until the ad hits h&h and then see how it goes. I wouldn't reduce her price so much, more likely to attract undesirables and also put off serious buyers (if she is that 'cheap' she can't be that good, type of thing). May be you could pm the ad to those who don't mind (as grumpy h&h won't let you on the forum now!). I'm happy to have a read through if that would be helpful. Def have a good pic though, when looking I will call for more info, but won't bother with an ad with a rubbish pic.

I could definitely do with the virtual cookies... ta very much x

I may just be panicking too soon maybe? I think all those texts and emails have put me off slightly.

Thank you for your replys, I would definitely pm you my ad, but I have no idea how to do it, I envy all the people who know how to put up links, make signatures etc lol!!! I have probably waffled quite a bit in the ad to be honest, iI am very emotional over the whole thing!

I don't know how easy she would be to find but she is under 1000, and chestnut with a white face coblet walking towards the camera with me leading. I have had to use slightly winter coaty pictures as on top of everything else I have put my camera somewhere safe (probably never to be seen again lol). I have took some more today with the mother in laws camera, which she will email to me in preperation for the new ad.

Thanks for the replies..... I need them x

I'm sorry, I don't have any ideas as haven't bought/sold horses for years but I'm sorry you have to sell them :(

I hope you find them loving homes quickly.
