how much would you pay for the following

14.2 cob type pony, (heinz 57 no known breeding) gelding 12yrs old. no comp history just been used as a happy hacker/light schooling. no vices. not the world best confo and has slight bowed tendons. not a novice ride as he has a cheeky side where he likes to buck and play (but not nasty either)

TBH the bowed tendons would put me off but I would say £1,000 to £1,500.

Is that a good guess or am I rubbish at this game?

I wouldn't even go to see a horse with bowed tendons. I think he's worth less than a thousand.

to explain not going to see a horse this is my old pony and i am considering offering to buy him off his owner. so more sentimental value than anything.

well put it this way, my 14hh cob pony is 12 and hasnt done anything in the way of schooling but hacks alone/in company and jumps like a stag is advertised at 1000 ono and she has clean legs.
