Can anyone tell me what my yearlings official breeding would be?
My mare is 3/4 TB x ID
His Sire is 1/2 Hanoverian x Westphalian

Apart from complicated!

Officially? A crossbreed.

I think what i meant to ask was, essentially is the ID strain lost as it is very minor compared to the other breeds, and he shows no ID characteristics at all.
I know it sounds like a major mismatch, but i chose to breed from this mare as shes really bold and athletic and has a nice temperament. The stallion was chosen because he is nicely put together and has proven jumping and dressage stars in his line which is what i was hoping to achieve. It has only become apparent after recieving the whole pedegree in the passport that the Grand dam has more westphalian on her side than first thought.

It doesn't sound like a mismatch at all! You have basically crossed a British/Irish 'warmblood' sport horse with a Continental warmblood sport horse. Nothing wrong with that. Especially as many warmbloods are a mix of different WB breeds anyway. I suppose for simplicity your yearling could be described as 'ISH x WB'.

The TB x ID isn't just a great sport horse in its own right, it can also cross very well with other breeds. We had two nice TB x ID mares to my Arab stallion this year!

Your mare sounds super - and the yearling sounds nice too; are you pleased with him? Do you have any pics we could see?

Thanks htobago, you've always really nice things to say!!!
My mare is really nice (IMO) she was spoilt as a two year old unfortunately and has taken me that long to put right with 2 pregancy breaks (both of us) not had much chance to get her out to compete. My yearling is super too, dead straight forward to do and cheeky, I posted a pic of him on my post about cutting a colt but I'll add it on again. I'm always a little worried about what people will think as everyone seems to have super top class youngsters and worried they'll rip him to pieces. I think i love him so much because of what he stands for, "That i did it all on my own", and he does my mare justice because hopefully he'll go on to do what she hasnt so far.
