Export of horses from SA to Europe currently limited to quarantine in SA, followed by further quarantine in Mauritius before flying to EU. This takes several months and is affordable by very few people.
As the current outbreak is in the Protection Zone, not the Free Zone, it should not further extend the current ban on direct imports from SA.
