I have also put this in Careers so please dont flag me... I currently have a number of freelance horses that I have sole charge of mucking out, exercising etc. as well as holiday cover. I would like to extend this to house sitting aand other animal cover. I have worked full time with horses for years and do not want to go back to the daily grind as variety really is the spice of life.

Please may you share your thoughts on how I would advertise and get some clients built up.

Thanks

Im based in the new forest hampshire, a good place to maybe advertise and put your feelers out on is the NFED directory, very popular internet site in our area.

Once you are established, word of mouth can be added to that.

There is an email newsletter that goes round, called Hampshire Horse (you can find it thru google) and a Facebook group called Hampshire Hooves.

I'd suggest you get a website, and make sure you get good metatags (think that's what they're called!) so that you get good listings on websites. Create a group for yourself on Facebook with your business name, you'd be surprised how quickly that sort of thing takes off.

I'd be interested in your services myself, depending where you're based, and what you'll offer - let me know when you've got details sorted!
