May have been nothing but in light of the recent nocturnal behaviour of vehices I just thought I'd post.
1.01am I hear a car, look out of the window and there's a car stopped just before my gate. It suddenly pulled forwards and pulled into my drive. It didn't 'wander' up either but came uite quickly. My drive is quite long and about 30 metres up it to one side is my house and on the other side of the drive is the horses barn. The drive continues taking you around the back of my property to the workshop/sheds. The car pulled right up to the house/barn tripping the security light. At this point I was shouting my husband who put the light on and pulled the curtain back. They reversed out quickly and pulled off, turning onto more back roads rather than into our village, suggesting to me that they knew the area.
This may have been innocent, as hubby pointed out, but I see no reason as to why a car would be driving around the back roads at 1am on a monday night, let alone pulling up people drives. It's not as though they pulled in just far enough to turn around either, and anyway, they continued going the exact same way on leaving.
They may have been after horse stuff, they may have been after the car, they may have been after my hubbys tools, or it could have been totally innocent, but I just thought I'd let everyone know just incase. All I can say is that was a lighter coloured car, maybe silver/pale blue, and a larger car with a boot, like a mondeo or escort as opposed to a small car. It had a very visible brake light in the back window too.
