The next meeting of the South Nottinghamshire Bridleways Association is on Tuesday 26th March at Bunny Hill Riding School, Bunny Hill Top, Costock , LE12 6XN. The meeting will start at 7.30pm.

This is a public meeting and may be of interest to anyone who wants to support / be involved with the improvement of local bridleways. The meeting will also be looking to accept nominees to form a committee.

You can also fine us on Facebook and on our web page. We would love as many people as possible to attend so please spread the word!

Hi

The group hasn't been going long so the technicalities are all being ironed out. Basically the group aim to be involved in improving and increasing access to bridleways . The group hopes to encourage people to identify bridleways that aren't useable and to report them and also to identify areas where more bridleways are needed ( for example there are lots of bridleways in the area that don't go anywhere but if it was possible to join them up it would make riding alot safer etc) .

It's hoped there will be some group rides organised over the summer and other social things to raise the profile of the group.

Why don't you pop along and see what you think? Te more the merrier.

I've only just moved to keyworth so don't know the riding round here well but if you need support I might be pursuaded :)
