Hello,

I was wondering if anyone is a member of the above and whether they could reccommend me joining? I've had a look on their website and there seems to be only really one indoor dressage or indoor SJ competition a month...? Have the shows just not been put on the website yet as we are at the start of the new year? Or is that about average?
 
Just had a look at how the website compares to my fixture list and up until May it's pretty accurate. There are a couple of things missing like area dressage and SJ team comps, and a pleasure ride at West Wycombe Estate.
From May onwards there is not a lot on the website compared with my list. if you pm me your email address I can send you a full fixture list to see if that helps you make a decision.
I can say that it's a pretty friendly club, and they do offer lots of team competitions (if that's your bag) and plenty of subsidised training through the summer at different venues, and a brilliant camp!
 
I am a member (for 1yr so far)
I havent found them to be the most active club ever...

Last year they treid to get a camp going, and XC training too - I would have LOVED these, however cancelled due to lack of interest - Hopefully this year will pick up for my personal tastes :)

I will say however the Committee are so nice! Really friendly and approachable :D

Looking at the webpage im totally jealous!!!!

Our lessons are 35quid for 45 mins - and are generally once a month not a week- and nothing has happened for us for the last 2 months and thats not even beginning on diversity of events and camps and everything!!!

AND!!! and !!!!

(Goes off to look into moving house so I can be South Ox instead!)

LOL! Tbh I use to be with WORC and found it quiet, but then I suppose I didn't involve myself in social stuff etc...
