This is a bit of an odd one..

Does anyone know of any homeboarding for dogs or a dog trainer who would be prepared to offer a boarding service for a 14month old large dog who needs introducing to cats? He is like a giant puppy, he has met my cat but she's very timid and this mixed with his boisterousness has resulted in him chasing her on one occasion which I would like to avoid repeating.

North Devon area preferred but beggars cant be choosers!

The dog could go away and someone could train it to be reliable in their house, with their cat, and it wouldn't necessarily transfer back home.
You'd be better getting someone out to train you how to train him, if that makes sense.

I just spent six months getting my staffy beagle cross good with a timid cat. I got them to a point whereby they could be in the same room with me in it with said dog ignoring the cat and I also had control of the dog outside when she saw him out there. It is doable (although easier with a confident cat I admit) if you're careful about setting the cat up for success and the dog is food oriented!
