South West meet up?

I am new here, but as my name suggests, I am south west too, where abouts does everyone else live?? would be great to meet any riders close to me in North Devon.

good idea Santa, what about Nutwell Court? (except some of us will be running round most of the day...can't recall seeing a bar last time)
Or Okehampton Show?
Shame Royal Cornwall has gone, I did intend to go but had to nurse broken heeled OH and didn't fancy pushing a wheelchair up that hill.
 
I was 'going' to go to Royal cornwall as well but couldn't be bothered with the drive or the very very very early start to get there before the traffic (left at 7:30am last year from friend's 30mins away and still took 2.5 hours to get there!!!!)

hmmm now what has a bar! Bicton does but not really meet up friendly in my opinion if we plan to sit at bar.......

There are BE wise Winkleigh, Nutwell Court (which me and MDM if she sees this can't do as we otherwise detained....), Stockland Lovell and Hatherleigh in next month or so.

BSJA there is Bicton, 14/15th July there are some BIG (up to 1m40) classes at the Hand, Pontispool (area 48 shows),

as interesting alternatives there is a KWPN grading and SFAS HOYS qualfiers at the Hand in July

Spookbusting and Developing the Fear Less Horse and Rider – Evening Demonstration with Joanna Day at Pontispool in July

and i'm sure can find all sorts of other alternatives

Perhaps we could do something like Weezy did?

Could we hire a village hall somewhere? All bring along a little something for lunch?

I am down in Cornwall but I am happy to travel to Devon.

Has anyone got a nice Village Hall with ample parking?

Weezy's party worked beautifully. We all paid £5 which covered the hall and a cleaner for after we had left. We all brought along food and drink. It was a lovely party. Everyone was lovely. No one bitched about anyone it was all about getting to know eachother a little better and having a giggle.

Perhaps somewhere not far from the A30/M5 would be easiest for everyone?

I got the impression in one of the other posts that someone thought it was the done thing to meet up and bitch. So I figured it was best to set the record straight.
