They have had to close the entire A30 from Whiddon Down right through to Bodmin due to freezing rain on it.
Quite how anyone is supposed to use the side roads (which will be even worse) I haven't a clue, but anyone planning a journey today I'd leave later when it's thawed out a bit.
Our builder rang at 7.30am to say he was going to be late as his entire village was iced up, it sits in a dip so no-one could get out in any direction.
Tonight is supposed to be 4-5 degrees plus rain, and up to 50 mph winds, so we will be putting extra haylage bales out for our horses in anywhere we can find out of the wind, they refuse to use the shelters in conditions like this, which makes it horrible for them.
