Hi,

Struggling to find ode etc in local area - Somerset and surrounding this year. Does anyone find the same or does anyone know of any coming up June onwards?

Looking to do just little stuff at the moment 70-80 as first timer.

Just a word of warning about Toomer - some of the fences are very straightforward but there are some biggish drops even on the 2'6" course - might be worth schooling round before entering. Check course photos on https://www.facebook.com/unaffiliatedxccoursephotos/photos_stream?tab=photos_albums
There is a mini coffin, trakaner, drop into water, steps, drop fences on the 2'6"course
Lovely friendly people and ground is old pasture and course generally rides well but I know some people have been a bit shocked when they see it.

If anyone knows anymore in the devon area, am doing the pontispool one on 7th june so looking for some more later on in the year.

Urchinwood have one at the end of July, if that's not too far - course pics on FB as in juliap's post. West Wilts may be too far for you but they run a RC ODE at the end of June. Is Bicton too far south? They're running a RC event on the same weekend. Good luck!

Depending where in Somerset you are there's West Littleton, 5 mins from Bath junction of M4. They've got events the end of May (organised by PC) and 6th June (organised by BDRC).
