Saw in H+H that the SSB were meeting at 12 noon not that far from us. So headed out there.
The landowners father was there and few foot followers but no hounds or horses. We waited until 12.30, making phone calls to everyone we knew involved with that hunt and no one knew where they were. We couldn't get hold of anyone from the hunt so we headed back home.
Shame as I would of been different to see bloodhounds working.

How annoying. But SSB are a bit random. And the hounds always got lost whenever I went out with them !

They had lame hunt horses that day, it was on the website the evening before (www.southernshiresbloodhounds.co.uk). Try them another time, they are a good laugh and don't take things too seriously, plus its usually quite a small friendly field. The hound were a bit rubbish last year as lots of young uns were coming through and lots of old uns dying off! Got their act together now and went like stink last weekend
