soya oil

just wondering if anyone feeds it for their horses and what the results are?

i used to,

but im not putting them both ob BOSS instead, as want to get Hector to grow some more hoof,

you can get soya oil cheaply from tescos rather than buying one from feed merchants

i feed it to my oldie (39) and his coat looks fab considering how it used to look. Hes also a bit porkier than he usually is at this time of year... might just be a coincidence (sp) but i like to think its doing the trick!

Apparently soya oil at this time of year helps the winter coat to moult......

I feed it and its given M a lovely coat and a little extra energy too. I bought mine from CWF for 5.99 xx

I feed 1 cup (235 ml) per day to my boy and he has shed most of his winter coat already and he was unclipped and quite hairy plus he has a lovely shine even without brushing! ECHO get it from Tesco's - much cheaper.

Yep good stuff both mine have a dash all year round great for the coats cheap alternative to cod liver oil. It's the vitamin e in it, that helps the coat. I buy mine from tesco's at 86p per litre in the oil isle, exactly the same as you buy from horse tack shops.
