I am currently looking after two spaniels and a kitten, the dogs are being rather vocal and hyper, one has just been playing with the kitten, which i had to stop as i thought a curtain was going to be ripped or pulled down, but they seem to be starting again.
Same dog jumped off a chair and started barking at the ceiling
I get up to see if they want to go out and they both just sit on the sofa by the open door barking at me.
The kitten has been outside all day but is now full of energy running around jumping on everything (including me) which can be quite funny at times (apart from on me with sharp teeth and claws).
I was hoping for a quiet evening, i don't think its going to happen.
Anyone else with mad animals?

I now have one curled up on the sofa with me :) the other is still playing with the cat so im currently letting them entertain each other, as long as they don't break anything or hurt each other!
I still wouldn't mind getting a spaniel myself but can't at the moment as already have 3 dogs at home.

Mine too are both curled up asleep. They are pretty damned fast when out but chill when they're inside :D

exercise or hide and seek games in the garden :D

Mine are rescue though so being spolit and getting stroked/praised/cuddles is their sole incentive and they know that when they settle they will get that :)

My springer goes out twice a day, sleeps during the day, sleeps during the night and loves cuddles, she is very well behaved and is not hyper at all. Which I'm glad of as I did think twice when we were offered to rehome her because the previous owner didn't want her anymore, we've since found out she had a few other owners inbetween bless her, now she's with us she has been a total gem I love her to bits.

Flat out spangle here.....mind you thats after a whole weekend of hyperactive excercise.....monday is dog sleep day in our house!

Spaniels have had two walks today and are now calm :) they are calmly following me round the house and curling up by the sofas.
Can't say the same for the kitten though
