I have two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. However they look very different! They came from the same breeder, but the boy (black and tan) is quite springer-like, though I don't have experience with springers. He's constantly on the go, can run for miles, etc and more lanky in build than the girl (blenheim) who is much stockier in build. I've uploaded pics of them both to my album, and wondered if anyone could have a look - I know there are some experienced springer/spaniel people on here! Are they just slightly more lanky/stocky cavvies?

I don't know a lot about cavaliers, but I would say the blenheim looks more like a King Charles than a Cav. The black and tan doesn't look really springer like to me but perhaps has a slightly longer muzzle than I would expect. I don't know if its a colour thing but my brother had a black and tan who was a very active little dog, would walk for miles.

No two dogs are ever exactly the same, there can be a lot of diversity in numerically popular breeds, dogs can take different traits from their parents and dogs further back in their pedigrees.
There is a lot of diversity in my own breed, down to the very litter, my GSD is small, black and long coated, his litter brother is tall, grey and tight-coated you would never think they were related, but it depends what comes out in the genes.

I've got 3 cavaliers who all look very very different!
One looks like she could be a different breed to the other two entirely, even though if you know the breed its very obvious that they are all cavs :)
