Hi,
I was hoping that someone out there could tell me why it is that Spanish Norman horses are bred using a PRE stallion with a percheron mare and not the other way about? Surely if genetics are 50% from each parent then the resulting foal should not be any different from one born from a PRE mare by a percheron stallion. Is it just because it is more humane to use a smaller stallion on a bigger mare rather than the other way about?
Thanks!
