spaying docks

i have seen something posted about this before. but please remind me again what is the best to get rid of docks?.. i have sprayed already in early june and this killed some and stunted the rest they have now come back so this time we have strimmed and collected all so not to seed .. i am sure i have read some place that if you spray in june it is to soon to spray in july they will die... again what is the best time and solution?

Our farmer usually sprays in May or June and we take the horses off the paddocks for 2-3 weeks. Not sure what he uses though, will have to ask.

I spray mine with Grazon 90 in May/June

and you see them start to wilt within a couple of hours - have to keep ponies off the field for at least 7 days (I leave mine off for 2 weeks just to be safe)

Our padocks were sprayed with Grazon 90 in June & we kept the horses off them for about 2 weeks. The docks, nettles & buttercups have died back & the padocks are looking pretty good now......fingers crossed.
