Speaking of Mules.................

Does anyone know WHY Mules are sterile? What scientifically happens when they develop in the womb?

I know an Amish man who swears he has one in foal! We shall see in the spring.....................




He said there is only one recroded case of a Mule having a foal but I have never heard that story before.

Are Zebra/horse crosses also sterile and is there such a thing as a Zebra/donky cross or a Zmule!?

The definition of a species is that breeding within the species produces fertile offspring and cross-species does not, to do with chromosome numbers. Zmule sounds fun! Wouldn't want to piss it off though - bet it could kick!

Sometimes mules can breed, but not that common. I have known someone who used to drive a zeedonk. There was a craze a few years ago for the exotic.

OMG! LMAO! I found a Zebra donkey cross and the REAL name is WAYYYYYY better than my made up "Zmule!"
