i got a letter from the planning peeps the other day saying someone had made a complaint and said i'd got stable block up without planning permission. it went on to say the planning people had been to visit and seen that i have got said stable block and to contact them immediately...
so i did, and i explained they are mobile stables (on skids) and planning man was fine with it, and said that was fine. and if i ever wanted to make them permanent, to give him a ring etc etc. so.. he was nice. and i'm not in trouble... but...
i'm broken hearted...
why has someone grassed me up? we live rurally, so stables don't affect anyone or their view. i have about 4 close-ish neighbours. and i've only lived here since september... so i can't have annoyed anyone. i hope!
i'm not even riding at the moment so it's not like they're fed up of me clipclopping past their house or anything...
also, i feel really funny and defensive about the fact someone has been nosing around on my land. when i was up at the stables the other day, the horses were acting odd, and i noticed someone dart behind a bush in the neighbouring field. i had sleepness nights worrying my horses were going to be stolen. but i reckon now it was someone nosing at my stuff...
and now i know the planning people have been nosing too.
i feel like a little terrier - i want to go out there and bark and scare people away from my land... god, next i'll have 23454 cats, and a shotgun on my lap whilst sitting in the front garden in a rosking chair...
