some of you may remember the problems we are having with a local dog owner.
things escalated on saturday with the bitch jumping into our garden to attack our bitch. as the dog was wearing a muzzle, it got bit of a surprise when it realised it couldn't pin our bitch down without the help of the malamute. the owner said it was our fault for not having a higher fence (3'6 stock fencing) and that her dog had been in there before.
Police and dog warden have been notified. police visited and said woman ought to have her dogs on leads, but really it was a matter for trhe dog warden.
dog warden - total waste of time. repeated that because the 2 dogs are muzzled they do not pose a threat and do not need to be on leads. if we don't want them in our garden we need to take owner to court.
we now know that other people are having their bitches attacked as well.
obviously we are going to pursue this, but wish to do so through an agressive solicitor. i am genuinely concerned that these dogs could harm a child or elderly person whilst attacking their dog. the bitch (husky/gsd/wolfdog) is at least 30kg and the dog (solid malamute) around 45kg.
can any one recommend a no nonsense solicitor please.
yes i am very upset, and do feel threatened in my own home.
