Can anyone recommend a vet that specialises in equines with sacroiliac problems? Preferably in the North West.
Have you used him?Tom beech is in stockport
I’ve looked at all the info out there. Would be nice to hear from someone with experience of him & his methods for this problem.Not personally but have a look at his website/Facebook hes the horseback vet, vet and chiropractor I think, hes a proper specialist

Thank you that’s very helpful.I've used him and wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone. I've used Rob Jackson as well who is also very good, but his PA is a nightmare and he's a fixer, ie he fixes the issue in front of him, whereas Tom looks at the whole horse. Tom got my horse back into work when he had been pretty much written off and the next step was a workup with a not great prognosis.
He was very thorough, stayed for ages going over the horse and his history and current living conditions etc.. He was happy to sit with me afterwards and discuss the horse, work out a feasible rehab plan with me and chat about his training etc. I never felt he was rushing or in a hurry to be off. Hes a nice guy as well as a good vet/osteo
He will be my go to for all weird niggling soundness and NQR issues going forward. If he cant help he will refer you on.
