Speedi-beet Horse loves i but..

How fattening is it for a good doer? I have to soak a single handful with a large sprinkle of linseed to get him to eat the pro-hoof hidden within it! Teaspoon of garlic seems to mask the taste for him. He isn't in much work at the moment off to Rockley in December . Will he turn into a barrage balloon? On well grazed field with a little hay but not every day.

I cant imagine a handful could put that much weight in. Id be more worried about the linseed, but again a sprinkle isn't much at all.

Neither will put on weight to any vast degree - as it is the quantity that makes feeds fattening.

Is your horse a mint fan as Peppermint Oil is great for masking drugs. Then you can soak the sugarbeet in extra water and drain off the liquid which will contain the molasses that was sprayed on the beet.

Speedi Beet which is made by British Horse Feeds contains less than 5% sugar. The actual product has long digestion time, therefore it will help keep him ''fuller for longer''. You can be at peace of mind, Speedi-Beet won't make him gain any weight.
