Speedibeet Question.......

It is one part of Speedi-Beet to five parts of water by weight.
Right for example I had 1 cup full and I thought if you added 5 cups it would be right but it wasn't, say 1 cup of speedibeet weighed 250g you would then have to add 1.25litres of water. Does this make sense?

hmmmmm... not sure I agree... I've always done it by volume and it's been perfect! nice and wet with a little water left over :$

I took that straight from the speedibeet website, it just happens to be the same weight as my cup. I drew a line on a big water bottle and made sure I filled it up to there everytime.

on the bag it says 1 part beet to 3 parts water just read it!! unless yours if different or you make it wetter

it says to mix speedi beet and chaff 1:3 if feeding as a hay replacer.... but to mix it does indeed say 1 part beet to 5 parts water by Weight...and yes, I'd rather have it wetter to dampen the rest of the feed and make sure it was thoroughly soaked (I also leave it overnight and you'll be amazed at how much more water is absorbed!!) but anyway... enough said... we're all happy feeding what we're feeding... the point of this post was to help OP with their question... not start squabbling! lol!
