Has anyone got a list of fruit/vegetables etc that i can use to spice up my feeds or use as tibits instead the usual pears, apples and carrots?

i'm going to make a list right now. I think my pony is fed up with apples and carrots because if there is any food anywhere around the yard eg banana, sandwiches she's off no matter how many apples are right beside her

"Horses enjoy a wide variety of fruit and vegetables: carrots and apples are the most common, but bananas are also popular, as are soft fruit such as berries, grapes, pears, plums, and apricots, as well as vegetables such as swedes and turnips."

taken from Equus Caballus..... I am now off to greengrocers tomorrow

My boy loves oranges - I mean loves! He sucks the juice out before eating them - skin and all!
He is a chestnut so I think he needs them to keep himself the right colour :-p

Mine hated bananas! They just smeared them across the ground. Never tried grapes though. Mine do absolutely love turnips, I give mine 1 each a day during the end of the winter. I also have odd horses - 1 of mine loves apples but not carrots, another is the opposite. Weirdo's!
