Just a little note to say that spike is back from the vets in willersleys after his KS op and is doing really well. Me and my OH halfpass left this morning at 5am and arrived to collect him at 9.30 am(after stopping for breakfast). time we'd gone over his drugs and dressing changes etc. we didn't leave til 10.30. We arrived back at our yard at about 1.30 pm so we had a really good run back with spike behaving for once(thanks to the vet giving him some acp) He is really settled and seems happy to be home.(it's really good to have him back). I or halfpass will keep everyone posted on his progress. Would just like to say thank you to everyone on here who has helped with advice and good luck vibes for my boy.

Goodness, had no idea that you'd gone to willesley as well for the KS op!!
Anyway, brilliant news, glad that the op went ok, how many vertebrate did he have out?

Glad to hear you had an uneventful journey home!!! Hope everything goes smoothly from here. You've had the op at a nice time as you'll be able to most of the fittening programme during spring and riding again by summer. Welcome to the hard work and dedication club!

Good luck and keep us posted.
