...anyone tried this product? What do you think?

I give Dengie hi-fi as a hay replacer for our little OAP - do you think I could substitute it for this to save buying 2 products? I know on the Spillers webiste it does say that it's low sugar etc. and as she is prone to lami I wondered if it would be ok to feed to her?

I've tried ringing Spillers but can't get thro...

Thanks

Spillers Care Line is: 01908 226626.

I've rang Spillers myself today and apart from an annoying call system saying "for sales press 1, for ordering press 2,"etc, etc I got through okay.

I am putting my horse on the Cool Fibre starting with an introductory amount tommorow. I have decided to use it as I have just come off the Winergy Equilibrium Feed Trial and it is slightly more economical to use to feed my big 17.1hh WB. You might like to try the Winergy Feed Trial, dial the number above and speak to Helen. Not sure if its still on mind you. The Equlibrium is an excellent feed, but the Cool Fibre is slightly more economical. It does have Hi Fi type stuff in it.

Thanks, I have the number, I'm at work so can't leave a message for them to call me back (the line has been going to answer machine) but will keep trying.
I don't really want to give him a feed where you have to feed a set amount for them to get the required nutrients from it, I prefer a balancer & chaff cos my lad doesn't really need a feed it's just a dummy so he doesn't feel left out! He gets more than enough energy from his hay...
I feed the Equilibrium Senior to our OAP and it's really done the trick with helping her to keep a bit of weight on, great feed.
