Nice surprise in the post yesterday, £20 worth of Spillers vouchers courtesy of Horse magazine because they printed my Reader's Rant. (I could do 1 a week for years and feed my horses if they'd go for it!)
So, I haven't ever used Spillers feeds, what would people recommend please? I have two 4yr olds (one prone to chubbyness, one lean, so on minimum balancer, and topline cubes + balancer, respectively) and a mature horse who just needs maintenance feed.
Recommendations of nice tasty stuff please,
Thankyou!

Do you feed a chaff at all? If so maybe consider the Happy Hoof - it's a lovely feed, has small grass nuts and herbs/mint and added vits/mins in it so nice to give to the fatties, and also a just general good complementary fibre.

I'd probably not bother changing hard feed if you have something your horses do well on, because really £20 is only going to get you a couple of sacks and is it really worth changing their feed for such a short spell of time? If you do then I think the Response range is really good.

yes, mine get Graze On, Hi Fi and Alfa A, in varying amounts each, so i'll get a few bags of the Happy Hoof and maybe fatso Daisy can just have that from now on! If she really loves it, i'll keep her on it!
thanks for advice!

I won some for a letter to them as well. I don't feed spillers so I emailed and asked if I could buy 2 books from their online shop instead and they said no problem! Still waiting on them but I ordered 'over to you' and the Tim Stockdale one.
