Just wondering how many of you guys use spillers horse feeds and for what level of work they are in and if you find them good? I have been using conditioning cubes and cool mix and am absolutely amazed with the results. she has alpha a as well. Her coat is really shiny, she looks so healthy , she doesn't get so excited etc. She's been on it some weeks now, and I'm astonished the difference feed can make!

Have just started (2 months ago) using the spillers 98% sugar free mix. Sparks doesn't get much, as she is a really good doer and I prefer to feed ab lib hay and less hard feed, but she really likes it and looks great (even if I say so myself). She is ridden for about 1 hours 6 days per week (Schooling and Hacking).

I feed Spillers to My own horse and also all of the horses at work are fed spillers. My cob lives on Happy Hoof and Hi Fi Nuts (With cortaflex/oil/hay) and looks really well on it. I like the fact that the Happy Hoof has a low nutritional value so you can feed higher quantities - stops him getting bored!

The horses at work are on varying feeds, a ex laminitic follows a similar diet to my cob but with formula for feet added. The oldies are on Spillers Veteran Conditioning Mix and we also use their Slow Response Mix. All look fantastic on it so I've never felt any need to change suppliers!

I feed happy hoof, my girl is a very very good doer! There is similarfeeds to this but i like happy hoof because it is more tempting and has vitamins and minerals in. Plus i can feed more to keep her quiet for a bit longer!

That's exactly the same as me! You can feed vast quantities of the stuff - I've looked at other manufacturers but they don't look anywhere near as appetising. Murphy loves it but I always throw in some Hi Fi nuts and carrots!

I like the fact that i can give her a bucket full at night and know it won't do her any harm. If i give her a normal feed of it she eats it all in one go. Then sometimes when she has been in i give a her a small bucket full and she nibbles it throughout the day.

I did feed Happy Dieter (until I went back to get more and they've stopped stocking it, grrrrrr) and really liked it. Used to feed cool mix and sports mix, not sure they still make that though. I find the mixes quite expensive so don't feed them anymore (he doesn't need them), but did like them when I did.

Both my girls are on Happy Hoof and they love it. My tbx is a bit of a porker so it's ideal for her - My tb would be better off on Alpha A but she doesn't really like it so I've figured it'd be better to give her lots of Happy Hoof instead - she loves it.

i had Woody on Spillers slow release cubes after his 18 month field wallowing. They did wonders for him, he is a true beefed-up cake now after 6 months of work and decent feed.

Pickle has the senior mixes. She is not a good doer but she is in gorgeous condition on these. Bobby just has a tiny handful to flavour his little bit of good doer (not spllers) as he can get a bit tubby.

Bailey is a very laid back 6 year old Connemara and we have fed him Response instant energy mix almost since we got him in November, he goes really well on it.
