spine x-ray etc - how quick?

My girl is getting a referral to the hospital to have her spine x-rayed and a bone scan too. Long story but I hope to come to the root of her problems soon. How long does it normally take to get the appointment does anyone know? And how long does it take then to be at the hospital? I am sure my vet will be able to tell me when it comes to it but I am just wondering. In the meantime I need some good vibes and hope that she will only have something that we can sort out or live with and that she will remain my riding horse for a long time still to come!!!

We do in-house spinal x rays (but not bone scans) and tend to do them within a day or so of a problem being suspected. Obviously depends - can do them asap in an emergency. Whenever we refer for bone scans its usually about a week - though some of the clinics we use are booked up until July at the moment!

I got an appointment for a bone scan within a week - unfortunately it took 3 weeks to get approval from insurance company so i had to give up 2 appointments until insurance was sorted. So fingers cross you'll not have to wait long. Good luck x
