What are they and which conditions are they used for?

Never heard of them and I'd like to think I know most types! What leads you to ask?

I saw them mentioned in an H&H forum posting for sheared heels (I believe) and then I saw an article that I COULD NOT comprehend about rotational effect of Spiral shoes on horse's hooves...

I've never heard of them either, but then there are so many new things around nowadays

I put an answer in veterinary.

They are for mediolateral foot imbalance.
