Noticed tonight madam has developed a hard bony lump right below her knee, slightly to the inside of her leg. It seems like a a splint but it's come up quick and seems to bee in an odd place? It definitley wasn't there last night and I'm pretty sure it wasn't there this morning either, it's not hot, she's not lame on it or bothered by me touching it. I do have photos but photo bucket isn't playing ball.
With its location do I need to worry (it's not on the joint) Or do anything seeing as she doesn't seem fussed by it? (She's a bit of a sick note job so I now overreact slightly to things I wouldn't usually!)

That's not a particularly strange place to have a splint. Any hard knock can result in a splint - it's a reaction to stress on the bone - and if it's not hot, swollen or sore then I wouldn't worry too much. Splints will usually resolve, get smaller, or can even disappear altogether, and will settle down unless the area of bony growth interferes with the action of a joint or tendon.

My gelding clunked the field gate with his leg (flirting with the mare in the next door paddock :() and got a bony swelling on the front of his cannon bone.

It did eventually disappear...

Thanks both. She does seem to get them quite easily (she has stupidly lumpy legs) But just the positioning on this one had me feeling a bit more cautious but if it's not unheard of for them to be there then I'll not worry. Cheers :)
