Splint pictures

hey all, well after my splint post a couple of days ago i managed to get a picture of it tonight, what do you all think i think itis very weird how it came up over night and has caused her no pain what so ever ?? can they just come up like that or is it something else
(p.s incase you can't tell from picture it is on the outside of her leg)

hmm cant really see but it looks smaller than joeys, i took some pics on my phone of his tonight but not sure how to get them on comp. his is on the inside of his leg, having xrays tomoro morning.

I believe it's quite unusual for splints to come up on the outside of leg, but it is possible. I've never known them to pop out overnight though!

My mare had one almost the same - it went down as quickly as it came up and never caused a problem. Hope same goes for you.
