Well I posted earlier this week about my little lady throwing a splint, anyway had vet out yest and it turns out it is a mild reaccurance of the last issue, she has high articular ringbone which is fusing and suffers from mild arthritus in the coffin joint, vet seems to think that the balance in her foot is out only by a 2mm but its enough to cause her to go lame again.
Vets seems very positive that after a fews days rest some bute and re shoeing she will be sound, so she has had her front shoes off and ten days rest before shoeing.
So the splint is a sign of this according to the vet. I feel really down after her being sound and in full work for so long, although the vet is really positive I cant help worrying.
so need some good vibes for me little lady and hopefully in ten days she will be fine x

Sorry to hear that, a splint would be so much easier to deal with.

However, all is not lost, I'm sure the vet wouldn't be so optimistic if there was cause to be. See what happens and try not to worry too much - I know easier said than done. Good luck x

I know but I should of learnt by now its never the simple option with her, anyway she is looking much better today walking and only had two bute last time she didnt come sound on bute so fingers crossed x
