I'm just so pleased, and amazed - I never thought I'd be able to shift the damned things, yet after 5 hours with his magnetic wraps on, they are much smaller.

Just wanted to pass this on, as i know lots of peeps struggle with the damned things ;)

this sounds interesting i have a 2yr old who has throw 2 large splints just being in the field. What is the theory behind this?

i wanted to try magnets after searching on here, and finding the suggestion cropped up a few times. My boy's a youngster, and has thrown his seriously hooning around in the field. One came up pretty large, they have both settled and calcified, and while he's turned away I wanted to try and reduce them . I wish i'd done before and after pics, but there is still a way to go.

I've got some info from these sites - the first is where I bought from ; http://www.equimagnets.co.uk/

ps, i guess there's no guarantee they'll work for every horse, I just thought for £12.99 it was worth a try. Splintex gold (my next stop) is £34....then laser worked out at over £500.......I just can't afford. Vet said they may well go down in time, but the biggie IS a biggie..

That sounds really interesting. Not normally the sort of thing I go for tbh, but if it works you can't really argue! Oh mare developed one small one recently as a result of a long running medial lateral imbalance. Would be great to shrink it abit as she has lovely clean legs other than this. Shall get reading!
