I have a rising 3yr old British Warmblood that has, over the past 2-3 months, started to develop splints in both forelegs, I have not started backing him yet so they are not due to work, he was stabled overnight and out in the day through the worst of the winter weather but generally, for the time being, lives out 24/7. Does anyone have any good advice/remedies for splints?
Thank you in anticipation!!

Unless your going showing i wouldnt worry about them. once theyre up they wont give any bother.i havent heard of any remedies.i have a 3yr old colt with two splints and he lived out when he got them, vet and farrier both say,if anything they strengthen the bone! the horse doesnt know he has splints.
